1. About InkTerms

InkTerms is a document generation service that uses artificial intelligence to produce privacy policies, terms and conditions, cookie policies, and other business documents for digital products and online businesses.

InkTerms is not a law firm. The documents we generate are not legal advice. They are structured, editable templates generated based on the information you provide. You should review any document generated by InkTerms with a qualified legal professional before relying on it.

By using InkTerms, you agree to these Terms and Conditions in full.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use InkTerms. By purchasing from us, you confirm that you are 18 or over and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract.

3. The Service

InkTerms allows you to:

1. Select a document type (Privacy Policy, Terms and Conditions, Cookie Policy, or a bundle)
2. Answer a questionnaire about your business and product
3. Pay a one-time fee via Paddle
4. Receive an AI-generated document based on your answers
5. Edit, copy, and download that document

The document is generated immediately after successful payment. You can download it as a PDF or DOCX file.

4. Pricing and Payment

All prices are in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

All payments are processed by Paddle (paddle.com), who acts as the Merchant of Record for all InkTerms purchases. This means Paddle handles payment processing, sales tax, and refund requests on our behalf. We do not store your payment details. By completing a purchase, you are entering into a transaction processed by Paddle subject to their terms at paddle.com/legal.

5. Refund Policy

As Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all InkTerms purchases, refund requests are handled by Paddle. You may request a refund within 14 days of your purchase by contacting Paddle directly at paddle.net/support or by emailing inkterms@outlook.com and we will process the request through Paddle on your behalf.

Refunds are generally available within 14 days of purchase. After 14 days, refunds are at our discretion. We aim to resolve all refund requests fairly and promptly.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

6. Important Disclaimer — Not Legal Advice

InkTerms generates documents using artificial intelligence based on the answers you provide. These documents are:

• A starting point, not a final legal instrument
• Based solely on the information you supply — if your answers are incomplete or inaccurate, the document may be incomplete or inaccurate
• Not reviewed by a qualified lawyer before delivery
• Not guaranteed to be compliant with the laws of your jurisdiction
• Not a substitute for professional legal advice

You must review any document generated by InkTerms with a qualified legal professional before relying on it for your business.

InkTerms accepts no liability for any loss, damage, fine, penalty, or legal consequence arising from your use of a document generated through our service.

7. Accuracy of Your Answers

You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information you provide in the questionnaire. InkTerms generates documents based solely on your answers. Providing inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading answers will result in a document that does not accurately reflect your business.

8. Intellectual Property

Your document: Once you have paid for and received your generated document, you own the content of that document and may use it freely for your business purposes.

Our platform: The InkTerms website, branding, design, questionnaire structure, system prompts, and all other platform content remain the intellectual property of InkTerms. You may not reproduce, copy, or resell any part of the InkTerms platform without our written permission.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use InkTerms to:

• Generate documents intended to deceive, defraud, or mislead others
• Create documents for illegal businesses or illegal purposes
• Resell or redistribute generated documents as your own legal product or service
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy our platform, prompts, or system

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at our discretion.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• InkTerms is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service
• Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of InkTerms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the document in question
• We make no warranty that the generated documents will be legally compliant, complete, or fit for any particular purpose

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

11. Third-Party Services

InkTerms uses third-party services to deliver its product, including Paddle (payment processing and Merchant of Record) and Anthropic (AI generation). Your use of InkTerms is also subject to the terms of these third-party providers. We are not responsible for the actions or omissions of these third parties.

12. Availability

We aim to keep InkTerms available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend the service for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control. We will not be liable for any disruption to the service.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of InkTerms after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from your use of InkTerms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
